The beta firmware version FW3.0.10_beta for the X7(Android 5.1) is now available!
Kindly note that this is a beta version and might not be stable enough compared to the stable versions. So please think carefully before upgrading with this firmware.
If you have already upgraded the X7's firwmare to the FW3.0beta or a later version, you can download the OTA firmware package, transfer it to the X7 or micro SD card, and upgrade manually through the Technical support app on the X7.

If you have not yet upgraded the firwmare to the FW3.0beta or a later version, please download the X7 firmware upgrade tool package and use the upgrade tool to upgrade the firmware.

You can post in this thread if you have any issues with this version. But if you encounter serious problems, you may consider flashing back to a stable release.

The following changes and improvements have been made to FW3.0.10_beta compared to FW3.0.9_beta:
1. Added new theme for FiiO Music (FiiO Music->Settings->Theme); 2. Changed the default wallpaper; 3. Changed the UI for USB DAC; 4. Changed the boot animation; 5. Changed the UI for USB mass storage connection to computers (storage mode); 6. Fixed the delay issue with fast forward and rewind; 7. Fixed issue where the USB mode would be reset to Storage after a restart; 8. Fixed issue where the Balance control setting would not take effect after skipping tracks; 9. Fixed issue where FiiO Music would exit abnormally when skipping through the root directory if there's no track under it; 10. Fixed issue where FiiO Music would exit abnormally when playing some tracks of large file size; 11. Fixed issue where the track with embedded CUE sheet could not played in folder view menu; 12. Improved the noise issue that might occur when playing through USB DAC; 13. Improved the jitter/stutter issue when skipping tracks; 14. Improved the operating response speed of FiiO Music; 15. Added User Experience Improvement project; 16. Miscellaneous bug fixes.
Note: 1. User Experience Improvement project： In order to constantly improve the X7 firmware and user experience, we will try to collect the exception information generated by the player during using FiiO Music. This information will not include any personal data, and you can check it in the folder "internal_sd\FiiO Music\crash". Thanks for your understanding and support to FiiO!
2. If FiiO Music would still exit abnormally after the update, please try the following steps: a) Do a factory reset (Settings->Factory data reset) b) Open FiiO Music, click Settings->Reset database c) Open ES File Manager, click "internal_sd",then delete the "FiiOMusic" folder and "imagelolder" folder
d) Return to FiiO Music and scan for songs
3. If scanning for too many songs (around 30,000 songs)at one time, it's possible that the scanning might freeze. In that case, it's suggested to use the Scan for selected folders function to do multiple scans and scan for a limited number of songs each time. (We will try to fix thisissue in the future)
