Suggestion for improvement
Hi!
I agree with both ideas wholeheartedly! The first issue looks like it might be solved soon (hopefully) because I am seeing a beta FW for the X5II that addresses the scrolling issue.
The second is one of my biggest gripes with the device from the very beginning (of my experience with my X devices). Example: If I know the name of a song, but forgot who it is by, it is impossible to do any kind of meaningful search using "All Songs" in "Category" view since it shows track number first, then artist, then title. Since I am unwilling to simply throw all my songs in one big folder, the "Browse" option will not work for this scenario either. So, currently, if I am looking for a specific title of a song, I cannot find it unless I know who it is by to begin with.
With being able to do a search, if they were to allow adding a track (or folder) to internal playlists (plus being able to edit the name of it), without having to have it actually playing to add it, this could change the whole way the DAP is used (read, closer to what is considered to be normal features). |
